Peregrine
The Peregrine is a rather rare falcon, but the breeding numbers are growing slightly. It even nests on industrial sites, such as cooling towers of power-plants. The Peregrine is one of the largest falcons of western Europe and is a very fast hunter. It is known for the spectacular diving actions, where it catches pigeons or other birds.
